Thinking forward: Delivering the same great service that our customers value, despite the challenges

The current conflict is causing uncertainty in the UK, with oil and gas prices surging and rising costs elsewhere in the economy. Businesses like ours are facing the same issues. 

The Middle East is a key hub for international shipping routes, which has the potential to cause disruption to the availability of some of our materials.

With increased security risks and military activity within these areas, many shipping companies have been forced to suspend operations within high-risk areas and take longer routes compared to their usual line of transport. As a result, we have seen increased transit times, higher fuel consumption, delivery delays and port congestion. 

Our team are currently working very hard to mitigate any delays and ensure we can deliver the same great service that our customers value. We’ve been working behind the scenes to:

• Forward plan orders for our regular clients, up to 6 months in advance, enabling us to guarantee that we will have the materials required to create the solutions they require.
• Forward planning our own stock and building up a larger inventory to accommodate new clients and any last-minute orders that come our way!
