Supporting Local Charities: Humber Rescue

Humber Rescue is a volunteer-run lifeboat charity which operates on one of the UK’s most dangerous waterways, the Humber Estuary. The independent charity provides rapid search and rescue cover 365 days a year. Each year, the charity hosts an open day, and this year it was their biggest event yet.

Over 30,000 people gathered on Sunday 9th August to enjoy demonstrations from local emergency services, including Humberside Fire and Rescue, police dogs and a lifeboat display. The day also hosted several stalls, fairground rides and a spectacular Battle of Britain memorial flight by the Global Stars Aerobatic Team with the aim of raising money for an incredible life-saving charity.

The stickers were used as fun giveaways throughout the event, giving families a little something to take home and remember the day by and serving as a talking point to encourage more visitors.

We’re always happy to support local charitable events and organisations within our community, and we’re delighted to have played a small part in helping Humber Rescue make their event a success. Supporting local charities and the incredible work they do is something we’re passionate about and proud to be involved in.

If you’re a charity local to us, within Hull and the East Riding, feel free to get in touch, and our team will be happy to discuss the different ways in which we can support your next fundraising event.
